Dance examinations and internal, informal assessment is a valuable means of evaluating students' progress and students are encouraged to enter for ballet, jazz and tap examinations which are conducted annually.
Our SFD Ballet, Tap & Jazz examinations are coming up in June each year.

Southern Federation of Dance (SFD)
Developed in Australia, Southern Federation of Dance syllabus provides an enriching learning experience through sound, up-to-the-minute teaching techniques.
Exam & Workshop Timetable
Students may undertake ballet, jazz and tap examinations through Southern Federation of Dance. The 2023 examination entries are now closed and the exams will be in June 2023. The attached document is the 2023 workshop timetable and all information about uniforms and fees, the examination timetable will be released soon.
Informal Assessment
From time to time during dance classes students will be assisted to carry out self-assessment activities. These are used to encourage the students and to help with their personal development.
