Holiday Workshops & Charity Dance Day

Throughout December 2025 and January 2026 we will be holding Int/Senior/Adult Open Workshops. For more information and to book contact us here. We will be holding a Charity Dance Day in April 2026 (dates TBC). More information will be available soon! Our 2025 Charity day info (for reference) is still available for download below.

Term 4 Newsletter, 2026 Timetable & Prospectus

The 2026 Timetable is out! In 2026 there will be some new classes for more advanced dancers while keeping all of your favourite classes for all ages. Our 2026 Prospectus is also available now & has info about fees/uniform/timetable/teachers & more! As we round out the year, our Term 4 Newsletter has all the info for the rest of the year. Performance Troupe 2026

Auditions for our 2026 Performance Troupes were held in November 2025 and our troupes are now finalised. We will be competing in various Eisteddfods and competitions through the year as well as performing at various festivals & charity events around Brisbane.

Eisteddfods 2026

Our SDA Performance Troupe compete in various eisteddfods in the greater Brisbane area. Solo, duo and trios are also available to compete in eisteddfods through SDA. If you are interested in entering please contact Miss Shilleena.

Performance News

Our Performance Troupe Bootcamp starts on 31st January 2026, and we can't wait to get started. We are looking forward to competing in the Wynnum, Evolution, Beenleigh and SFD Eisteddfods this year. We will also be engaging in local performances for the community including our in-house choreography competition, for Bluecare Australia and Regis Aged Care Facility throughout the year. Some students are also performing solos throughout the year and preparations have already begun.

Celebrating 20 Years

2024 marked our 20th Concert 'REFLECTIONS' on 9th November 2024 at the Logan Entertainment Centre.

It was a spectacular event where we re-imagined our favourite dances from the past twenty years.

Choreography Competition 2025

Our 2025 SDA Student Choreography Competition was held on Sat 30th August 2025. It was a fabulous night, showcasing our talented dancers! We had entries from all age groups as well as performances by our troupes and eisteddfod soloists! First prize was taken out by Eva Hall with her jazz solo, who now gets to perform her solo again at the concert! Congratulations to everyone who performed and came along to support!

2025 Annual Concert

The school's 21st annual concert was held on Saturday 8th November 2025 at the Logan Entertainment Centre, 170 Wembley Road, Logan Central. There were two performances of the show 11am and 5pm with all students performing in both shows. The manufacture of most costumes was organised by the school and everyone danced so beautifully. Now we are starting preparations for our 2026 show! Permission slips for the concert go out in Term 1. Info also available about the annual concert here on the Performance Page.
